Ailish has exceeded all expectations and her knowledge of possession planning requirements, contractual particulars and reporting requirements at Network Rail now rivals the most experienced Project Managers.

Joe has developed RPS from its formation to a multi-sector professional services business over the past eight years. This work has won RPS awards, places on frameworks and accolades from our clients for the specialist work that we do. In 2026, Joe will lead RPS to delivering for new clients across infrastructure sectors as the work we do grows in recognition and exposure.

Richard is an award-winning Chief Operating Officer who has specialised in railway operator project development and delivery. Richard's understanding of railway operation requirements, contractual mechanisms, procurement protocols and entry into service is amongst the best in industry. This exceptional insight has driven RPS' high quality delivery of specialist services since RPS' formation.

Charlie Gilpin

Charlie Gilpin is RPS' Business Manager. With a background in Deloitte and DHL, Charlie brings business change, talent management and organisational design expertise to our growing SME. Charlie is often working behind the scenes to ensure that as we grow, the right processes, controls and infrastructure are in place to ensure we continue to exceed the needs of our clients.

Kathryn Cook

Kathryn is our Office Manager and oversees our training, administration and teambuild organisation. Kathryn ensures that when new starters join they have the right IT, policies, inductions and support to hit the ground running.

Summer will be RPS' first degree-apprenticeship Project Manager following her start with RPS in 2025. Summer will be trained in Project Management fundamentals supported by on-the-role learning at RPS as part of her degree experience. Welcome to the team, Summer!

Jake Clarke

Jake has delivered infrastructure projects, business change and assurance schemes across railway, energy and nuclear clients for RPS. This cross-sector expertise means Jake brings a significant level of cross-programme experience to our clients and in the delivery of his work. Jake is currently working with Sizewell C delivering complex work in the transition of the programme from development to delivery on-site.

Luke Jones

Luke is an experienced railway project manager with infrastructure delivery for Network Rail, West Midlands Trains and Northern Trains. This means Luke knows what it takes to develop and deliver operator-focussed schemes and to work with all railway stakeholders in the delivery of efficient schemes.

Tom Donnelly

Tom heads up our Network Rail Direct Delivery commission which sees a team of RPS project managers oversee the development and construction of multidisciplinary schemes including bridge refurbishments, tactile roll-out on station platforms and new Maintenance Delivery Units for operational teams.

Laura understands project delivery from both the Train Operator and Infrastructure Owner side following experience within both types of organisations. In bringing this expertise to RPS, Laura is excelling in managing a complex portfolio of geotechnical examinations currently for our Route Infrastructure Engineer clients in Network Rail’s Eastern Region.

Shak started out as an Apprentice on TfL. This gives him a wealth of knowledge across railway operations, maintenance and systems-led areas. Shak is currently working on a Network Rail commission delivering multiple footbridge replacements and strengthening as well as Maintenance Deliver Unit new builds. Shak is currently developing and delivering complex railway infrastructure schemes with Network Rail such as footbridge replacements, requiring intense planning for Christmas and New Years possession working.

Katie’s background working within a Train Operating Company has given her a great understanding of how to deliver projects across multiple locations with pressing timescales as well as navigating the complexities around implementation and hand back. Most recently, Katie has been delivering complex electric vehicle rollout for Network Rail's thousands-strong fleet of vehicles as part of its ambitious sustainability commitments.

Martyn's project expertise spans both infrastructure owner and operator organisations. Most recently, Martyn's excellent stakeholder management skills have been crucial in the entry-into-service of multiple new railway stations across the West Midlands. In this critical role, Martyn bridges the gap between infrastructure delivery and railway operation to ensure that new stations open on time ready to deliver for customers.

David is a skilled project manager across both Network Rail and train operator organisations. Most recently, Dave has been part of the RPS team delivering changes to the Route Infrastructure Engineering team within a Network Rail region to ensure that performance and safety targets are met. This means that Dave's project and operation experience also includes infrastructure maintenance, meaning he is a well-rounded professional with a great holistic understanding of our railways.

Ellyn works with our Nuclear clients in the production of complex technical assurance documentation projects. This involves the development and delivery of Basis of Estimates, Project Execution Plans and complex narratives supporting Quantitative Risk Analyses and Programmes. This work is deeply technical and relies on a sound understanding of project principles and assurance requirements for major schemes.

With a background in project development and delivery, Chrissy is delivering complex technical authoring and assurance documentation delivery projects across our energy and nuclear sector clients. This complex work requires an understanding pf assurance processes, technical functions and the ability to work with multiple levels of complex assurance activities, and Chrissy takes these requirements in her stride in how she delivers this work.

Daria joins us from retail supply chain management, bringing a skill set in technical compliance to our infrastructure clients. Daria is delivering complex cost-management technical authoring to our Nuclear sector clients, requiring the delivery of complex written outputs in accordance with estimating guidelines, client requirements and investment organisation protocols.
