Railway Project Services Consulting Ltd Opens new Birmingham Head Quarters Marking an Important Milestone in their Journey since 2017!


Railway Project Services Consulting Ltd (RPS), a specialist railway project management consultancy, celebrated the opening of its new office at 5 Lower Temple Street, Birmingham, B2 4JD with an official launch event on 20th March 2026, marking another milestone in the company’s continued growth and commitment to supporting the UK rail industry.


Founded in 2017, RPS has grown to become a trusted SME partner across the rail and wider infrastructure sectors. With a team of more than 30 permanently employed rail specialist professionals, the company works in partnership with major public and private sector organisations to deliver complex rail projects. RPS’ strengths lie in combining deep industry knowledge, practical delivery experience, with the agility of an SME to deliver high impact outcomes for clients.


RPS has made a significant investment in the Birmingham HQ, transforming the space into a distinctive 1950s-inspired office that offers a unique and characterful environment for the team. The office provides a collaborative workspace for RPS’ expanding team and serves as a hub for delivering consultancy services to clients across the UK rail sector and wider infrastructure sectors.


Designed to support flexible working and collaboration, the office reflects the company’s continued investment in its people and its commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and partners.

The launch event welcomed colleagues, clients and partners from across the rail and infrastructure sectors and saw a fantastic turnout, reflecting the strong relationships RPS has built across the industry.


Guests had the opportunity to tour the new workspace, network with industry peers, and celebrate the company’s continued growth and contribution to the rail sector.

RPS were honoured to host Rt Hon. Baggy Shanker MP Derby South and Rt Hon. Catherine Atkinson MP Derby North; two excellent MPs who spoke passionately about the future of UK infrastructure and who recognise the importance of the work RPS does for their clients. They described the company as a ‘brilliant success story’.
