We’re pleased to share that Railway Project Services has been named SME Employer of the Year at the Young Rail Professionals (YRP) Awards.
The Young Rail Professionals Awards are a respected annual event within the rail industry, celebrating the achievements of both individuals and organisations that are making a positive impact within the industry. They highlight the efforts being made to support young people, encourage innovation, and help the industry continue to grow and meet the challenges of the rail skills gap.
The SME Employer of the Year category recognises organisations that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting early careers, providing opportunities for development, and creating an environment where young professionals can thrive. Winning this award reflects the importance we place on investing in people and fostering a culture of growth across the business.
At Railway Project Services, we are committed to supporting the next generation of rail talent. Through a focus on development, collaboration and opportunity, we aim to create a workplace where individuals feel they can grow and build long-term careers.
Our Chief Operating Officer – Richard Gannon – sees this as “well deserved recognition of the work that we at RPS have put into our organisational development over the past eighteen months. Our business is set to grow significantly in rail and wider infrastructure sectors over the next couple of years, and this award demonstrates our readiness to deliver this for our clients.”
This award reflects the collective effort and hard work across our team, and we are proud to see that recognised at an industry level. We would like to thank the Young Rail Professionals panel for the recognition, supporting the talent in the rail industry. This acknowledgement is greatly valued and means a great deal to our team; we are incredibly proud of the work that has led us to this moment.
